Match Report Press Report

Totton Vets 3 Lost to Fair Oak Vets 3 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 11 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Russell Brown winning through.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 63 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Russell Brown.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Ian Pierce, who over-turned a 373 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
